Nicole Weathers, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, is a nursing professional development specialist scaling the divide between practice, academia, and entrepreneurship with a passion for bringing resources to all corners of healthcare. As the Program Director for the University of Iowa College of Nursing – Online Nurse Residency Program, Nicole has been blazing the trail in the world of online nurse residency since 2014, having first-hand knowledge of the unique challenges the new nurse and their employer faces when implementing transition to practice support. With over a decade of experience supporting new graduate nurses and healthcare organizations, Nicole has provided the leadership to grow the Iowa program serving healthcare organizations nationwide.
