Position title: N2PH Administrative Assistant II

Anna Shaul is an Administrative Assistant for the New to Public Health Residency Program. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and certificate in Global Health from UW-Madison in May 2023. She previously worked with the Brauer Lab Group in the UW-Madison Psychology Department, where she helped conduct research relating to group phenomena and behavior change. She is also a Registered Behavior Technician and  worked with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder using Applied Behavior Analysis therapy. As an undergraduate, Anna worked for UW-Madison’s Division of Continuing Studies as a Recruitment Content Intern. Along with her Administrative Assistant role, Anna works as a Research Specialist in the School of Nursing under Dr. Pecanac, in a study that focuses on palliative care and surrogate-physician communication. Anna is passionate about improving public health practices, including access to healthcare, and reducing disparities in both health outcomes and in research.
