Madeleine Saldon
Position title: Public Health Administrator, Chicago Department of Public Health
Madeleine Saldon is a Public Health Administrator II at the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH). She is currently working in the Behavioral Health Bureau in the Office of Substance Use and Recovery Services and has been working in this space for 2 years! Madeleine graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a focus in biological studies. Madeleine worked in an accountable care organization as her first role in public health. During her time at CDPH, she helped managed the pilot program of the city’s fist public health vending machines and wrote a policy to allow Chicago Public Schools to have access to Narcan! She also assists in managing the CDC’s Overdose Data to Action grant. Madeleine is very passionate about social justice and harm reduction! In Madeleine’s free time, she likes to take long walks by the water and read.
